Corruption: Harm Yourself With Drugs, NOT Your Pup!

A Georgia man is currently facing multiple criminal charges after his dog tested positive for Methamphetamine.

The devastating discovery occurred when Marty Allen Rogers brought his terrier mix to an animal hospital after he noticed his dog, named “Little Guy,” was “extremely nervous and constantly paces and panting and restless,” veterinarian Kevin Chapman told investigators.

Chapman told police that Little Guy tested positive for Methamphetamine. Authorities believe Little Guy ate the meth at Rogers’s residence in Talmo, GA.

Accumulated Charges:

Rogers was immediately charged with animal cruelty, but when cops went to his home to serve an arrest warrant, they discovered meth and a stolen motorcycle at the residence. Consequently, Rogers was charged with animal cruelty, narcotics possession, and theft by receiving stolen property.

Little Guy, Big Future

Thankfully, Little Guy has fully recovered from the drug-fueled episode and is now up for adoption since the animal control officer confiscated him after the drug results. Hopefully, this is a blessing in disguise where Little Guy will find a comforting home to start a new beginning, drug-free without a “meth Lab.”
