Dog Raising Cat: The Miracle of Rosie and Lilo

Rosie the kitten was found and rescued just before death at three weeks old. Almost gone, Rosie was nursed back to health by Lilo, a Siberian husky. Surprisingly following her canine instincts, Lilo adopted Rosie like a pup of her own.

Although Rosie’s foster family provided 24-7 care, they doubted the fragile kitten would survive. When they decided to let the sick kitten cuddle with Lilo, and there was an instant bond. Miraculously, Rosie started suckling, and Lilo went full “mom mode.”

After a week of TLC from Lilo, this lucky kitten opened her eyes and began walking on her own. She was well on the road to a fast recovery!
