Dog Owner Reunites After Tragic Home Invasion: How Could Someone Do This?

Meet Bailey…

A fluffy white Pomeranian who was rescued by Debbie Toomer at the age of two from an abusive home.

Last Wednesday, 10-year-old Bailey was targeted during a violent home invasion resulting in the robber slitting the innocent dog’s throat.

“I don’t know why they did it,” Debbie said in tears. “He doesn’t even bark. He doesn’t even make a sound.”

Alliance Police in North Canton, Ohio said Debbie’s friend, Tara Cobb, was dog-sitting when three masked men tore through the home.

The men were later caught and arrested after a high-speed chase.

“I think Bailey was very brave because he took blows we probably could have took,” Cobb said. “I thought we were next.”

More than just brave, Bailey further proved he’s a trooper.

Less than 48 hours at For Paws Animal Hospital, Bailey was back in Debbie’s arms, an emotional site included in the video below.

Leaving the hospital, the bond between Debbie and Bailey, tested through two tragedies, is even stronger.

To conclude, Bailey got to have his favorite food when they returned home…chips and dip.
