Meet Tiki, a black Labrador retriever who has a remarkable appetite for unusual tastes. The dog owner was puzzled when Tiki didn’t respond to medications for her vomiting, diarrhea and lack of appetite, and then x-rays showed a mysterious mass in her stomach.

What was in her stomach?

Drum roll…

After two hours of exploratory surgery, the vet found inside Tiki:

• 62 hairbands
• 8 pairs of underwear
• 4 rubber bands
• And a Band-Aid!

That is enough hair bands for nearly seven softball teams and enough underwear to last someone more than a week.

Tiki is no magician, but the vet and his technicians were truly amazed!

Dr. Ibrahim (vet) told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 he recently surgically removed 15 pacifiers from the stomach of a different dog, but he called Tiki’s unbelievable collection “really amazing.”

Tiki’s follow-up exam Wednesday showed she was bouncing back quickly from her surgery last week.
